I LOVE to travel. Places I would love to visit:
Singapore--I've always heard of the chicken and rice dishes here, and I would love to try some one day. And the architectural marvels would definitely be on my schedule.
France--I've visited Strasbourg, France for a day, but it wasn't enough. I would love to taste some macaroons in Paris and spend several days lost in the museums.
Panama--I would love to hike the jungles of Panama and visit my college friends who live there.
Zion National Park--I've seen so many wonderful images from this area, and I hope to take some texture and reference photos.
Places I've visited:
Greece--I went on an academic tour of Greece, which included Athens, Mystras, Olympia, Delphi, Skopelos, Thessoloniki. I climbed Mount Olympus...sorry no gods there, but the view was heavely. To study the works of Edith Hamilton, Aristotle, Socrates and then to actually see the places in real
life was just amazing. No words can contain the experience.
South Korea--I went to a summer academic program in Hanyang University. I lived in their dorms, learned Korean culture, language and politics as well as visit the nearby travel destinations. To come back to my home country from a bi-cultural experience was quite fascinating.
I enjoyed my time there and hope to revisit soon. Grand Canyon--I backpacked the West of the Mississippi via Amtrak on an one month international student ticket. (This was when I still had my Korean passport.) I stayed at one of the hostels near the Grand Canyon in Flagstaff and found a wonderful mountain man guide working at the hostel who offered weekly tours of the canyon. The climb was amazing. There were times where my toes were hanging off the edge as I coiled down the canyon. I will never forget the experience. I just wish I had a digital camera at the time.
